My name is Jack Brown, and for as long as I've lived I remember a boundless passion for storytelling being contained within myself. I am a video editor with over six years of professional experience within the realm of TV and Film production, working in numerous positions from PA to Assistant Editor.

My vast experience within the world of post-production has given me a diverse knowledge that I draw from while editing; along with my daily search for learning new techniques and methods to find new ways of creative narratives.

I graduated James Madison University in May of 2020 with a BS in Media Arts and Design, concentrating in Digital Video and Cinema.I started out working in three internships at production companies and communication departments before venturing off as a freelance videographer and video editor. While I am adept in both fields, editing is my true passion and it is my goal to become a film editor

I have continued my work as a freelance video editor, creating custom color grades, motion graphics and multimedia packages. I have also frequently worked as a production assistant and/or DIT for large budget productions with companies such as Disney, FX, Netflix, ESPN and more. My experience on set furthering my knowledge of both production and post as well as giving me an in depth appreciation for how imperative communication and understanding comes into the making of magic through moving pictures (and of course all the fun along with it).
